Our Philosophy

The passion for sports is unparalleled. Sports make up a global language understood across religions, creeds, and races. A sport is the simplest form of expression, displaying the tenacity and persistence of the human spirit. Moreover, sports play a significant role in the transformation of communities, societies, and nations. Sports is globally identified as a catalyst for economic development and a separate sector to be administered in various economies. The sports industry is growing rapidly, presenting growth opportunities to all the stakeholders of the sports ecosystem. Sports in any country are part of a complex ecosystem involving athletes, sports fans, leagues, private companies, government bodies and regulatory authorities. All of these stakeholders play an important role in the development of sports in the country. The sector includes sporting events and infrastructure associated with sports, along with training facilities and sports retail. Manufacturing of sports goods also forms a major part of the sector. As it is closely linked with various other sectors like tourism, real estate and health education, the sports sector as a whole impacts the global economy significantly. Sports infrastructure has been defined as “the primary physical and organizational construction needed to facilitate sport participation."

Two years ago, The Observer in the UK ran a ground-breaking four-part series on globalization in sport. National boundaries could not restrain expansion, we predicted, and developments over the next few years would be more important than anything since spectator sport first took off 150 years ago. Many were horrified by the radical ideas put forward by some of the most influential voices in sport and business. But change is coming… European club football is widening its horizons to other continents, and the American Football League (NFL), is talking about an International Football League in the works. The future of sports, and its impact on society, will be shaped by an array of factors, both within and beyond the control of stakeholders. Advances in technology will continue to create paradigm shifts in the provision and value of experiences. Leadership also matters – the ability to mobilize around new models and policies that may serve the common good. As technology reshapes the sports universe, expectations and experiences are improved and enhanced. The sports stadium of the future will be more accessible and seamlessly integrated into surrounding transport infrastructure, resulting in increasingly frictionless travel to and from the venue, advanced technologies, and automated systems will improve overall efficiency, enhance security and maximize profitability.

Facilities will be hyper-connected and afford ever-more personalized spectator experiences, blurring the lines between the real and virtual worlds in areas such as retail, hospitality, and food and beverage. They will be smarter and more environmentally friendly, with the ability to generate and recycle its own energy, and to offset carbon emissions. Ultimately, completely cash-free, with card payments and other cashless transactions at retail and concession stands considered the norm. Future experiences will be more personal to people, the overall fan experience will start when tickets are purchased. Its about the atmosphere, its culinary options, and its overall fan experience. It is about offering something distinctly unique. Separate and aside to providing the exceptional fan based experience on game day, we looked to create a business model that incorporates philanthropy and the social economy. Through an extensive and collaborate network of international sports service providers, we developed a sustainable and urban blueprint masterplan that supports a one-stop-shop ecosystem for elite sports and a state-of-the-art, fully integrated urban sports, entertainment, and lifestyle hub. The hub is also a destination for community events, bonding locals and visitors alike through various sports and lifestyle initiatives. Its integrated approach to sports and entertainment ensures that there is something for everyone.

Sports infrastructure is a vital component of smart city planning and development. Community sports infrastructure will have a positive impact on the community. It can affect different areas of urban infrastructure in the many ways. The private sector is a key stakeholder in the sporting ecosystem. Sports infrastructure is necessary to improve sports participation, which in turn can have a lasting impact on the sporting ecosystem of a country. Sports infrastructure provides people avenues and tools to pursue sports or lead an active life. With the development and improvement of stadiums and other sports facilities in an area, it significantly benefits from a boost to tourism and consideration as a venue for mega sporting events, besides encourages a participation in physical activities and sports. Better sports infrastructure and construction of stadiums lead to increased business for local shops in the area, employment, and income for construction workers and skilled laborers, income for hotels and restaurants, and increased revenue for stadiums and teams as updated facilities and expanded capacity bring in more ticket sales. In addition, the economic costs of health care may also be reduced as more people utilize these facilities and lead a healthier life. The construction or redevelopment of stadiums of the future and sporting facilities opens huge opportunities for revitalizing the surrounding local economy.

Sports also form an important pillar of holistic growth. At VR Sports, our purpose is to build trust in society and solve important problems.

Sport provides a forum to learn skills such as discipline, confidence and leadership and it teaches core principles such as tolerance, co-operation and respect. Sport teaches the value of effort and how to manage victory, as well as defeat. When these positive aspects of sport are emphasized, sport becomes a powerful vehicle. Sport can cut across barriers that divide

societies, making it a powerful tool to support conflict prevention and peace-building efforts, both symbolically on the global level and very practically within communities. Sport, is a reflection of society. Sport further builds human

capabilities by increasing knowledge and contributing to education. Sport is also one of the world’s most powerful communication

tools due to its near universal appeal, its convening power and its many positive associations. Sports give people pride and a sense of community. Through our extensive and collaborative network, we build integrated sports infrastructural ecosystems that

cater for and provide unique opportunities for children of all ages.
